What does Dusk Energy do?+
Gridkeeper coordinates the solar, battery, EV charger and flexible loads at one site. Watchtower lets an installer, retailer or VPP operator run enrolled Gridkeeper sites as a fleet.
What does Gridkeeper cost?+
Gridkeeper is free to start for households. Watchtower is licensed to operators.
Are you my electricity retailer?+
No. Gridkeeper controls the devices. Your retailer still buys or sells the electricity. Credentials for supported wholesale plans sit on the site’s grid feed.
What is the difference between Basic and Advanced?+
Basic has guided controls for storm preparation, EV readiness, schedules and quick actions. Advanced lets you create policies using time, price, battery state of charge, forecast and capacity constraints.
Why did some controls disappear?+
When a VPP operator is active, some Basic controls step aside so local schedules do not fight fleet instructions. Advanced policies continue unless the operator overrides them.
Do I need new hardware?+
Usually no. Gridkeeper connects to supported vendor clouds and to OCPP chargers. A local box is available for compatible SunSpec Modbus hardware without a cloud API.
Where do I get help?+
Use the setup guides in Help. For account support, email info@dusk.energy. The Gridkeeper by Dusk Energy Facebook page is also used for live community support.
